Ch. 68 - Farewell Frolls

As my belly grew rounder with the newest little Divine meals were decided my by cravings.  Having my own greenhouse has come in so handy especially when I'm craving out of season fruit.  Strawberry pancakes were all I seemed to want lately.

The kitchen refrigerator now overflowing with pancakes, cookies and pie because of my cravings.

My teens have been thoroughly enjoying their unexpected winter break along with all the sweets.

It's been four days in a row that school has been canceled due to heavy snow.

Jacinta: It'd be just perfect if this snow continued though to graduation.

Kim: IKR!!! I could get out of calc with a C and not worry about bombing the exam.

It was after Snow Flake day when the snow finally let up.  It was the first time I had to cancel a gift giving party and send presents in the mail.

With lighter snow fall we did get to leave the house to enjoy the end of the winter festival.

Everyone had a blast raking in the festival tickets from participating in all the winter activities.

So much fun in fact that the baby wanted to join in as well.

Meet Leander, born good and a book worm and his twin sister Leandra, born excitable and absent-minded.   During all the excitement with the twins being born the girls celebrated their own birthday as well becoming young adults.

Jacintha has taken an interest in alchemy and wishes to become an alchemy artisan.

Jacinda's powers have grown quite strong and she wishes to use them to do good by becoming a mystic healer.

With her diva trait Jacinta has always had an interest in fashion.  She wants to use her fairy powers to preform magic makeovers.

After getting settled into their new beach condos the girls plan on visiting France to spend time with their father.  Have a wonderful life my darlings!

Ch. 67 - Snowed In

"So much for winter weekend of hot tubbing."

"I'll go call the repair service."

"Aww man!  Mom the stove is acting up again!  I set the right temperature and followed the cooking directions exactly and the waffles still came out burnt."

Winter had not turned the temple into a wonderland as my teens had hoped.  Appliances needed maintenance and the kitchen and bathrooms needed scrubbing.  Since it was too cold outside for anyone to leave home I made good use of all the hands I had available to get household jobs done.

"So many dishes..."

"School has been canceled do to extreme weather conditions."

"Yes!  Snow day!  Snow day! Snow day!  Snow day!"

"Hey Kasmy it's a snow day, do you want to build a snowman?"

"After this we can ride our bikes around the halls."

"No, we're not cute little kids mom would just laugh and shake her head at any more.  She would kill us if we did that now and scuffed her imported tiles."

"From the looks of things outside I take that school was canceled?"

"Yup and the weather channel is predicting the same for tomorrow."

"Well I better get to work on stocking up the fridge since everyone will be cooped up inside.  I slept in late today because your little brother or sister seems to be made of feet with all the kicking they were doing last night."

"Hey little one take it easy on mom in there will ya?"

With the snow storm going on outside I decided something warm and gooey was in order.

Mac and cheese would hit the spot for the cravings I was having.

"Hey mom guess what?  I was still able to sign up for the sports club even though school was canceled."

"That's great Kasmy!  How about we do a quick workout together?  I over did it with the mac and cheese earlier and could use a energy boost."

As it turned out the work out with Kasmy gave me just enough energy to make it back up the stairs to the rocking chair.

Ch. 66 - Four Birthdays

"Happy birthday Kalyca!"  We celebrated the quads birthday at home in the garden after a long day of school and graduation ceremonies at the academy.

Kaylca grew up very well taking on a lot of my ravishing looks.

My green boys blew out their candles to become green young men.

Happy birthday Keril!

Happy birthday Kasmy!

And happy birthday Kyros!

Keril reminds me so much of Alcander at this age.  He and Wendi just had a little girl so I'll have to visit them to meet my newest grandchild.

Kasmy and Kyros look just like their father Rain.  My handsome plantsons are like fall and winter to their father's spring.

We'd had our garden party just in time as winter was finally starting to set in on Sunlit Tides.

"Better dress warm Kalyca it's starting to get pretty cold."

"Great.  First day of high school and I can't even wear the cute outfit I spent hours picking out because it's gotten cold."

"Aww little sis you're having your first mood swing.  Don't worry, it gets better."

The first snow of winter started falling that evening while I was tending to Sutter after cooking dinner for everyone.

"Keep warm in there my sweet this winter is going to be a cold one."

Ch. 65 - Art Appreciation

Hello all!  It's a new day and a new style for yours truly.  Looks fabulous on me doesn't it?

I've had to make some changes to the bathrooms with the girls outnumbering the boys in the temple.  The all-in-one units were expensive but well worth it.  After a quick upgrade ensuring they never broke the bathroom wars were officially over.

"Thank you so much for the new bathroom mom.  It was nice getting to take a shower before school for a change."

I've been enjoying painting very much lately but I've yet to paint anything I wish to keep for the temple.

The ones I've done so far are starting to clutter up the studio so I've set up an appointment with an art appraiser to sell them.

Gabriel Henry's voice sounded enchanting over the phone and when I met him at my front door I knew why.  He was a witch and a cute one at that.

At first Gabriel was all business and followed me to the studio without bating a eyelash at Bonehilda sorting my latest stack offerings.

"This is going to be a wonderful addition to the art exhibit Ms. Divine.  Please don't hesitate to let us know if you'd be interested in selling any more of your pieces."

After wrapping up the painting and loading it in his car Gabriel was preparing to leave but I convinced him to stay and have a look at my brand new easel.

"It's from the future and completely digital.  Personally I prefer real paint and canvas but it's fun to try new things every now and then."

"By the way has anyone ever told you you've a model's body Gabriel?"

At first Gabriel was a little shy but I had him out of his clothes and posing for me in no time.

"A modern day Adonis if I do say so myself.  It's obvious you take very good care of yourself Gabriel."

After a few more sketches and some body painting Gabriel and I turned the bed sheets into a work of art.
