Ch. 34 - Three Little Elves

Ummm the mac and cheese was good and gooey and the pumpkin pie smelled absolutely delicious.  My craving driven breakfast was going to be absolutely divine this morning!

Meals in the Divine household had been a bit strange lately but the children didn't seem to mind.  Especially since my sweet tooth had grown to epic proportions this pregnancy.  The newest little Divine was making me into a baking machine.

Between the pies and my protruding bell my mobility was suffering terribly.  The twins all pitched in to help around the house without my asking.

The four of them all took turns taking care of Sutter's needs.

Cleaning up the kitchen after meals.

And taking out the trash.

Cory even came by to spend time with the boys while I went out to the bistro for their famous baked angle food cake with Lee who was due any day now.

Her sweet tooth was even bigger than mine as she'd been going to the bistro every week since the start of her pregnancy for the desert cart.  She was sure the baby would be a fairy like Blasius.  He'd asked me for a batch of invigorating elixirs for when the baby came.

"I'll make you two batches and a key lime pie.  I know you and Lee will need it when my little grandfairy gets here."

We had pie for dinner Friday night to celebrate everyone getting on the honor roll at school.  Okay it was really to satisfy my cravings but I was still very proud of my boys and girls.

My little elf was due soon so I began to spend more time in the nursery.  The twins would join me and play with each other while awaiting the arrival of their baby sibling.

When the big day finally came I gave birth to triplets, two boys and a girl.  Meet my adorable little elves!  They all got their father's ears and their mother's eyes.

This is little Genia the oldest of the three.

Gene, the second born.  Isn't he just so handsome?

And the youngest of the three Genio.  Just look at his adorable little ears!

With the nursery full three energetic elven toddlers Elen and Eldora were looking forward to their up coming birthday party.

"I can't wait for my party.  I'll finally be old enough to ride Sutter and go diving with dad!"

Ch. 33 - Moving Up and On

"Good morning Fasya!  Are you excited about spending the day with your papa?"  Fasya and Feivel were going to spend the day with Cory because today was the girl's birthday.

The Rec had become very popular so the girls wanted to celebrate becoming young adults there.

Dasia was first to step into adulthood she grew into a stunning young woman.  With her wish to become a fashion phenomenon like her father I had no doubt she would be the most famous fashionista on the island.

Next up was Doria she was the most exuberant of the girls about aging up.  She couldn't wait to start her career in architectural design.

She plans on calling her business Divine Designs.  Oh I'm so proud of my young business woman!

The final birthday girl was my darling Diantha.  My gorgeous genius had decided to pursue a career in science with lots of loving encouragement from her father.

Trenton knew our daughter had an eye for style but her first love was science.  I can't wait to see all the stylish gizmos and gadgets she comes up with.

Diantha, Doria and Dasia all graduated and moved out of the temple to pursue their careers soon after.  I would miss them dearly but I didn't plan on their beds staying empty for long.

Things with Amalan were going wonderfully well.  We had grown very close going to horse shows and social gatherings together.  I planned to put the elf to stud next time he came by the temple.

Since the room would be needed for the new arrivals sure to come it was time for Fasya and Feivel to step into childhood.  As the older twin Fasya blew his candles out first.

Fasya was the spitting image of his specter father.  It was like someone had shrunken Cory down into a fun sized spirit.

Feivel blew out his candles next and grew into a handsome young boy.

While Fasya is the spitting image of his father now Feivel is the flesh and blood version of the man he once was.  His eyes are mine but the rest is all Cory Hargrove.

The girls moved into a new luxury apartment building near the beach so they were able to join the boys and I for cake after work.

"Don't eat too much cake now Fasya you won't be able to get to sleep with all that sugar.  You want to be well rested for your first day of school don't you?"

"Yeah this is my last piece.  I can't wait to meet lots of new friend and join the scouts.  Will you read me a bedtime story before you go?"

"Anything for my little ghost bro."

While the boys were at school I invited Amalan out for a day of horse ridding.

"You're doing just fine riding I don't think you really need lessons.  I suspect you're just using that as an excuse to get me alone," Amalan chuckled.

"You caught me," I replyed unapologeticlly.  "I'm not going to tell you how long its been since I last went riding but these sessions with you have been a wonderful refresher."

I patted Sutter lovingly as I dismounted.  He was very patient with me with me during my "riding lessons" and would get my best apples as a treat.   I underestimated the silkiness of Sutter's fur and slipped right into Amalan's arms.

Later back at the temple Amalan tended my kitchen garden while I helped the children with homework and put them to bed.  The flame fruit and truffles he had brought me were coming along beautifully.

Afterward I made good on my promise and mixed him up my specialty drink the Frothy Flirt.  After a few rounds we retired to the living room for a romantic night in front of the fire.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for adorable pointy eared elf babies!
