Ch. 75 - Advanced Technology

In order to immerse myself in futuristic culture I decided to moonlight as a bartender at one of the lounges.

The bar was starting to get busy enough to activate the plumbots with happy hour approaching and the music tonight's musician was putting out.

The fuchia toned artist was very energetic on the laser rhythm-a-con, a musical instrument that was all the rave in the future.  Most of the patrons were on the dance floor dancing to her beat.

She was also a familiar face.

I had run into her the day before while looking at the hologram statues in Legacy Park.  I was checking to see if Alesia's oldest daughter Eboni had achieved her goal of becoming a lustrous entertainer.

If I recalled correctly her name was Leila Ybarr and she hoped to get her own legacy statue someday too.  

"Hey lady, fancy seeing you here.  Can I get a glass of sass please?"

"You sure can, your name was Leila right?"  I asked and she nodded.  "It's on the house, you put on an amazing show tonight."

"Thanks!  Say has anyone ever told you that you look just Aphrodite from way back when?"  I chuckled pleased that even this far into the future people still remembered my lovely face.

"Actually I am Aphrodite," I replied.  "My children have been telling me about Oasis Landing for the longest so I finally decided to see it for myself."

"Oh my goddess! We need to go have lunch together like right now."

It turned out Leila was a complete history buff and a big fan of mine.

"I can't believe I'm having lunch with the Aphrodite Divine."

"Modern goddess, savior of cursed souls and full time mother.  I'm going to tell everyone that I got to meet you in person."  She sang out grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh Leila stop it!  You're making me blush."  Actually I was loving every minute of it.

"Are you kidding me!?!  You are basically a superhero that grants wishes."

"And you go around light zapping zombies on nights the moon is full."

"That all is true but in my time I'm still working on rescuing most of the spirits from the witch's curse." 

It was then Leila gasped in excitement with true fan girl flare as an idea sprang into her head.  

"Aphrodite we should definitely have a baby together!"  Leila exclaimed shocking me and that is in no way an easy feat.

"Ummm...Leila I'm really flattered but unless you're working with a lot more than what my eye can see I'm not willing to channel the amount of energy needed to make that happen.  It's nothing against you personally it's just back in the day we went a bit overboard slapping species together.  We got power drunk, wars were fought, civilizations crumbled, all things I'm sure you've read about.  It's just wasn't pretty and not some thing anyone wants to go though again."

"Oh no!  You wouldn't have to do anything risky like that.  We have technology." Leila said waving away my worries.  "We can go to the hospital and science center to have one engineered.  It only takes a few hours and my cousin Ned is a mad scientist there, he can give us a really good discount."

Oh my me, the things mortals come up with with their technology!  "Well if it's that easy why not."

On our way to the hospital and science center I tried to find out if there was anything I could do for Leila but she was having none of it. 

"Are you kidding me?  I'm going to be the parent of one of Aphrodite's 100 children of love and once I write about this on my holo-blog my followers will jet out and my subscriptions are going to go interstellar.  Oh by the way I'm part fairy on my mother's side so wings are possible."

The procedure for engineering a baby was very simple and speedy.  They took DNA samples from both of us then we decided on the gender of the baby and what our little bundle would look like.

Leila was so excited she talked non-stop about baby names and the genetic possibilities for our child while blogging about the whole experience.  

Laser Light Leila's Holo-blog

Everyone I have out of this world news!  I met the divine love goddess Aphrodite after my gig and became one of her chosen ones!  At this very moment I'm in the process of becoming a mother.  Our pretty pink princess Nella will be ready in only a few hours.  Tons of holo pics coming soon!

The facility had an in house spa that pampered parents to be as they waited for their little ones.  We both got manni/peddis and Leila got a tattoo with Nella's name and birth date.  

Once Nella was ready Leila and I took her to meet her grandparents in person.  Leila's mother and father were just as eccentric and passionate about the arts as their daughter.  They were thrilled with their new granddaughter and had commissioned a nannybot for Nella. We took tons of pictures together and had a lovely dinner before I returned home though the time portal.  

All in all it was the most entertaining birthing experience I'd ever had.
"We're home now Nella, all your brothers and sisters are just going to adore you."

Hey Sims fans long time no see and holy cowplant over 9,000 views on the blog!!!  No words but THANK YOU for taking the time visit with Aphrodite and the kids.  I know it's been a really long time but as you can see I was able to save my game.  Yay!  The Sims 4 also came out a few months ago and I just had to check that out since I got it as a gift.  Lately I've been crocheting gifts like mad but still wanted to get in a quick update before the holiday season to let you all know Aphrodite is still at it.  Thanks so very much for taking a peek at my blog.  Happy Simming and holidays to all!!

Ch. 74 - Into the Future

The children had been picked up by their fathers after breakfast to spend the weekend with them during my trip into the future.

My time portal was assembled and ready for use.  I couldn't wait to see how well my family line had flourished.  Oh this was going to be so exciting!  I'd heard so many wonderful things about Oasis Landing and enjoyed the gadgets and gizmos the children had brought back from their trips.

After activating the portal a gentleman dressed in shades of blue stepped through to hand me a tablet.

"Greetings Ms. Aphrodite Divine, I'm Emit Relevart!  It's a delight to have such a historical figure visiting.  Here is your almanac of time, if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.  Well I'm off to continue my research, enjoy your time in the future."

With that Emit stepped back through the time portal.  I took a few minutes to flip through the Almanac before stepping in myself.

Oh my me!  Oasis Landing was exactly as the children said it would be.  Every thing was so sleek and stunning, a lot like me.  

Next to the portal was a jet pack with a note that read "For Ms. Aphrodite Divine", my first futuristic offering.  I put it on right away and couldn't wait to zip through the skies.

"Oasis Landing Aphrodite has arrived."

After choosing a room in Emit's large estate to stay in I asked one of his plumbots for tips on operating the jet pack. 

It didn't take long for my amazing self to become a fabulous flier.

Once I was in the air my first stop was a visit to some of my descendants.

Daemon Divine was a successful businessman and owned the EP-XI Imports Gallery, his lovely wife Liza was a surgeon.  I had a grand time getting to know them and telling stories about the past.

"It was wonderful having you come visit with us Aphrodite.  Please if there is any thing you would like at the Gallery it's yours."

There was no doubt that Daemon was a true Divine.  That sweet handsome man knew there was nothing I liked more than a shopping spree.  Now what to wear?

Technical Difficulties

Hi Sims fans! I apologize for not being able to post for the last week and possibly for a little while longer.  I am experiencing some major problems with my Sims 3 game.  For some reason I keep getting stuck on the loading screen and none of the fixes I've tried so far have worked(I've also come dangerously close to doing just what the picture shows to my laptop).  After a short break to settle my nerves I've a few more things to try but if those don't work I have to do a complete re-install of the game.  Rest assured this is not the end of Aphrodite and her 100 baby challenge, my backup files are tucked away for when I get the game operational again to start up where I left off.  As always thanks for reading and happy simming everyone!

Ch. 73 - Ms. Fix It

"Up mana up!" Malvina exclaimed until I entered the nursery to let her out of her crib.

"I hear you my little early bird."  Malvina was always the first of the girls to wake in the morning.

Today was going to be a busy day for me.  I planned on doing upgrades around the house before my trip to the future.  Doria and Diantha were always raving about Oasis Landing so it was time I went to see it for myself.  Maybe even find a handsome man of the future to show me around.

Kyros was coming over to take over watching the girls for me while I worked.

"Hey there Madora!  Do you want to go fast or slow in the swing chair today?"

Fireball also stopped by for a visit, he and Sutter spent all moring racing each other up and down the beach.

I got to work on fixing the hot tub then upgrading it to unbreakable.

I did the same to the computer in the study then went around the temple upgrading the rest of the electronics and plumbing.

While I was busy upgrading Leander and Leandra insisted on helping out Kyros with dinner and the girls.  They were now the oldest siblings in the house and wanted to pull their weight.  It was adorable.

"Here's your bottle Malvina."

The next morning I had the girls bathed, fed and ready for their play date with their father.  Once Augistine picked up the girls it was off to the the future for the goddess of love.  

Ch. 72 - Uprooted

My four lovelies were now toddlers and learning the skills they needed to grow.  The boys were happy to help their baby sisters along while Kaylca spent time with Sutter watching over the twins.  

I just love how all four girls strongly resemble their father Augistine.  Here is Marmee looking absolutely adorable with her little pigtails.

My Malinda can be a bit grumpy at times but once she warms up to you she's as sweet as can be.

Madora loves to sit and play more than anything else.  She's given us a bit of a hard time while trying to teach her to walk but luckily one of my offerings after their birth was a baby walker.

Malvina looks the most like her father and is the friendliest little cuddle bug you'll ever meet.

When I'm not with the girls or cooking for the other's I've found myself spending more time and money repairing things around the temple than I like.  

After bringing thirty-four children in to the home all my appliances have had much more use than the standard household appliance.  Everything is in serious need of an upgrade but I've yet to find the time to get it done.  

The upgrades would have to wait because today was my green peas birthday.  We were fling with Rain to his parent's botanical garden to celebrate with them.

After becoming an adult Kasmy gained the irresistible trait.  He wants to become a super star athlete.

Keril gained the great kisser trait and wants to buy a house boat and become a grand explorer.

Kyros gained the flirty trait and wants to become a master romancer.

Kaylca gained the hopeless romantic trait and wants to become a zoologist.  

Graduation soon followed after the quads birthday.  Kaylca was valedictorian for her graduating class and Kasmy was voted most likely to become a sports star.  The two of them will be going to university once everyone has moved out and settled in to their new homes.  My green peas have made me so proud!  I'm going to miss them.
