Ch. 7- Days of a Divine

Screenshot-20 - Copy

The days with the triplets seemed to pass by faster than Hermes’s sandals could flap their wings.  Before I knew it the triplets were aging up again and another party was in the works.  On the morning of their birthday party I went to the bistro and picked up baked angel food cake for breakfast as a
special treat.

Screenshot-25

Octavio’s magic show tour had gone off without a hitch and he would back in town in time to attend the party.  He was the first guest to arrive and brought a buffet spread and noise makers for the party.

Screenshot-26

Alesia was the first of the birthday bunch to blow out her candles and aged into a stunning teen.

Screenshot-27

Octavio had the panic attack every father of a beautiful teenage girl has when he realizes she’s getting ready to step out into the world.  I found it very humorous to hear him mumbling under his breath about banishing anyone who made his daughter cry or cause her trouble.

Screenshot-28

Next to age up was my blue birthday boy, Alcander.  After blowing out his candles he instantly grew up to be a teen girl’s dream.

Screenshot-31

He already seemed to have an admirer before the wax on his candles had time to harden.

Screenshot-32

Alena was the last to blow out her birthday candles and make a wish.

Screenshot-33

One of the spirits even managed to make it to the birthday party.  They were extremely happy to see the beginning cracks in the philosopher's stone.

Screenshot-34

When Alena aged up into a looker as well Octavio paled and nearly fainted at the thought of the girls starting high school in a few days.

Screenshot-23

When the party settled down after the cake was served I took Monte aside and told him I was expecting.

Screenshot-24

“That’s wonderful news, I can’t wait to take the little tike to games at the stadium,” said Monte excitedly.  “And when their old enough I’ll train them myself at the gym to be the best athlete they can be.”

Soul Stone

Later that night the crack in the stone deepened and I went into labor.

Screenshot-40

Soon after my sweet little Blasius was born.  He was born with golden sparkles surrounding him.  Monte let me know that the sparkels would form his wings after his first birthday.

Screenshot-41

“Who is mama’s little sparkle baby?  Who? Who?  Blasius is!  You’re mama’s little golden boy.”

Screenshot-42

He had his father’s dazzling smile and would have his wings when he aged up into a toddler.

Screenshot-45

Being a fairy child Blasius naturally loved being outdoors so I took him out in the stroller when the weather was nice.

Screenshot-46

The little darling just loved our strolls to the town’s greenhouse.  I enjoyed the trips there too as I was able to pick up a few new vegetables for my kitchen garden.

Screenshot-44

The triplets being the wonderful teens they are often helped out with Blasius in their spare time.

“Here you go Blasius, dinner is severed.  Your big sister, Chef Alena has prepared a delicious bottle of warm milk for you this evening.”

Screenshot-48

“Hey there little man.  Why are you being so fussy?  Its because you were missing your big brother isn’t it?  Tired of all these ladies cooing over you and treating you like a baby.  You need some male bonding time with big brother Al.”

Screenshot-49

Sniff, sniff.  “Man what is that smell?  Oh Blasius did you…Mom!”

Screenshot-54

“Oh baby Blasius is sleepy isn’t he?  Big sister Alesia will sing you a lullaby.”

Screenshot-55

“Rock-a-bye baby, in the tree top
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall
And down will come baby, cradle and all”

Screenshot-56

This is just a vanity shot of me during a 3am feeding.  Who else but the goddess of love and beauty can get out of bed to feed a wailing infant and still look this good doing it?

Screenshot-68

Blasius’ birthday came around quickly and he aged into an adorable fairy toddler.

Screenshot-69

Monte came by and gave Blasius a child size jersey of his player number for his birthday.

Life in the temple continued on normally as it does in most households only with a bit more flare.  The maid service had finally sent over Paulina to replace Armando.  I liked her, she caught on to the rhythm of the household instantly and ran things as efficiently as Armando had.

“Ms. Divine you have an offering waiting for delivery.”  Paulina told me as I was heading out.

“Oh just leave it on the offering table Paulina.  I’ll look at it when I get back.”  I was still in the process of planning my grand party and needed to mingle with the townies to ensure an big turnout.  I was going to have a pool party and still needed to arrange for a mixologist to work the bar.

“The package is much too big for the offering table Ms. Divine.  You must tell the movers where you would like it placed.”

The delivery turned out to be an alchemy table.  I had it placed in the study and couldn’t wait to do a little research and mix up a few potions.

When I was done I had a few friendship potions in hand and stepped out to make some new friends with them.

Screenshot-53

I wasn’t the only one to improve my skills in the mystic arts.  Alesia’s powers had grown as well, she unlocked the ability to banish and ensorcel others.

Screenshot-79

Blasius was getting used to his wings and becoming more adventurous with his flights.  Luckily the designer that had redone the temple had already childproofed the home, so I didn’t have to worry about him flying out one of the windows unsupervised.

Screenshot-113

Teaching my flighty fairy to talk was relatively simple given the social nature of his father’s people.

Screenshot-70

Alcander did me a huge favor by overcoming his aversion to dirty diapers and teaching his baby brother how to use the potty chair while I was out attending a mixology class.

The triplets were doing such a fine job in school and helping me care for Blasius that I let them have a few extra simolens and extended their curfew to treat themselves and a few friends to games at the new arcade in town.

Considering the unique circumstance of their birth I wanted to make sure my children had a happy childhood and had the same everyday experiences as their peers.

Screenshot-122

Even though their father and I were not an exclusive item I made sure they got to spend time with him when he was in town doing his magic tour.

“Alena I heard you got on the honor roll.  Congratulations, my daughter!  How about I take you to that concert at the stadium?  I’ve worked with the performer before and can get us backstage passes.”

“Really?  That would be amazing I’ve been saving for weeks to go that concert.  Thanks dad!”

“Its no problem, you’ve earned it.”

Screenshot-81

The girls experienced the mad rush to school in the morning like any other teen when they began having a more active role in planning their own daily routine.

“Oh shoot we overslept!  Alesia can you clean both of us up so we don’t miss the bus and I’ll buy you a milk shake at lunch?”

“Deal and I want strawberry.”

Screenshot-83

Each of the triplets had a turn at running the household for a few hours babysitting their younger brother while I was out completing opportunities in town to earn extra momey.

“Ha! I caught you Blasius.  I’m going to put you in your everyday clothes then its time for the tickle monster mawahahaha!”

Screenshot-84

I even put life and limb on the line to make sure the triplets reached the same memorable milestones as others their age and began teaching the three of them how to drive.

“You know you are allowed to go the posted speed limit Alena,” I said patiently as she crawled along the road at a snail’s pace.

Alena’s knuckles went white as she gripped steering wheel.  “That’s easy for you to say mom, you’re immortal.  You’ll be fine if a deer or raccoon runs out in front of the car and sends us crashing off the road and we go flying through the windshield.”

“Alena you’re not exactly mortal yourself you know.  “I am your mother and your father is a genie.”

“Oh I guess I really didn’t think that through correctly,” Alena said while thoughtfully looking up.

“Alena watch the road!”

Screech!!!

Screenshot-101

After that debacle it was days before either Alena or I could step foot inside a vehicle.  I was more relieved than shocked when Alesia came home with the purchase she made with all the money she earned from her sim cleaning business.

Screenshot-115

Alcander and Alena chose to take pity on me by losing interest in learning how to drive and took up broom riding instead.

Screenshot-114
Screenshot-89

Along with gaming, broom riding, and motorcycles the triplets thoroughly enjoyed the arts as well.  They often spent time in the studio together improving their skills.

Screenshot-88

Alesia practiced music whenever she could.  She was still very passionate about her dream of becoming a vocal legend someday.

Screenshot-43

Alcander took up painting and even joined the art club at school to hone and refine his skill.

Screenshot-117

I was so proud of him when he was presented with an award at the art gallery for his works.

Screenshot-99

Alena enjoyed sculpting but her real passion came out in the kitchen.  I don’t know what bargain she made with that contraption masquerading as a stove to have it never burn her dishes but the meals she prepared were delicious.

Screenshot-98

“Alesia try this chili I made.  I’m thinking of entering it in the cook-off at the park this weekend.”

“Umm, its good but some people expect a little kick with their chili.”

“The way I made it the kick is the last thing to come through the flavors.”

Screenshot-97

“Oh, I think I’m starting to feel it now.  Wow I’m really starting to feel it.  Its hot, really really hoooooottttttt!!!!  Water!  I need water!”

“So I need to go a little lighter on the ghost peppers?”

Screenshot-112

The children were all doing so well that I finally took them to the pet store like they wanted.  There we found Rin and brought her home.  She’s such a playful bird, she loves fling circles around the room.

Screenshot-82

The children take her care seriously and make sure to fill her bowl everyday and to keep her perch clean.

Screenshot-111

Screenshot-118

As time went by the triplets began spending more time away from home.  They often invited friends out for group outtings in town in the hopes of finding a date for the high school’s approaching prom.

Screenshot-119

“So Alena I heard you like food, and cooking and stuff.”

“I love food, and cooking and stuff.”

“That’s cool.  So do you want to go to the diner with me to get some drinks and share an order of ghost pepper chili fries with me?”

“I’d love that.”

Screenshot-172

“Hey Alcander.  You said you needed my help with an art project?”

Screenshot-173

“Yeah.  I needed to see you under the light of the stars for the portrait I’m going to paint of you.  I’m going to call it “Starlit Beauty”.”

Screenshot-123

“They say we're young and we don't know
We won't find out until we grow
Well I don't know if all that's true
'Cause you got me, and baby I got you”

Screenshot-180

When all three of the triplets told me they had all gotten dates for the prom I arranged for a stretch limo to take them to the dance on their big night.

Screenshot-182

The kids all looked fantastic in their formal wear.  I couldn’t stop myself from taking tons of pictures of them with their dates.

Screenshot-191

It was the night of a full moon so I stayed up late and waited for the triplets to return home safely from the dance. I was elated to find out that Alena and Alcander had won the vote for prom king and queen. When they showed me the pictures they had taken at prom I immedatly found a space on the wall for them to hang.

The triplets prom pictures were absolutly adorable.  Alcander and the girls were excited to tell me they were going steady with their prom dates. I'm so glad they had a wonderful time.

With the prom night come and gone graduation for the triplets is just around the corner.  If all goes well with the triplets and their sweethearts and it will, I’ll have plenty of parities to plan and throw. I’d better get a head start on my gift shopping for the graduation, engagement, wedding, and going away parties I’ll soon be hosting.
While I’m out and about preparing I’m bound to come across another paramour.  I’ve got 96 more children to have and raise before I can lift that smug witch’s curse.
